Letter from the board of directors

The Board of Directors has decided to keep our tuition down for the 2024-25 school year to aid those families that will be self-pay this year. As a result, some programs and amenities will be delayed. We ask for everyone’s patience and understanding as we try to get this school going while being good stewards in the process.

Our decision to participate in the Arkansas LEARNS Act has been a difficult one to make. We ultimately decided to participate to benefit those families that would not ordinarily be able to afford private school. We however want all of our constituents to understand that we will only participate in this program as it allows us to continue to operate autonomously with our mission and core values in place. We will always be a private school whose dedication to Christian education will not waiver. If this program ever changes, and infringes on our rights as a private Christian employer/educational institution, then we will immediately pull out of the program (schools can opt in and out on an annual basis). With that being said we encourage anyone who qualifies for next year, and in the future, to set aside at least one year’s tuition (if financially possible) in case the school would no longer participate in the program.

Sincerely,

OCA Board of Directors
